Sing the Songs of Summer!

In Ocean Grove, songs of summer have meant a lot to us. There are so many musical memories from across the years. This summer, since we can't meet together to sing and learn like we usually do, we thought, "Why not sing in our homes? We can learn songs on our phones and computers. We can create mini-concerts for family or close friends!"

This collection of songs is exactly that—an opportunity for you to learn, sing, and perform this summer... whenever and wherever... in your house, or somewhere outdoors, maybe at the beach, or on the back deck. Each song has materials to help you learn and a background track you can play when you sing! Choose the songs you like. You can listen, learn, and create your own performance.

We're here to encourage you. Have a great time. And have a wonderful summer!

WORD on the Square

Outside the building where we rehearse and perform is a park called "Auditorium Square." WORD on the Square is our blog, a place where we share positive thoughts, cool memories from past shows, and words of hope and promise.

Encouraging Words

This summer is all about growing as a performer right from the comfort of your own home. Have fun exploring and learning each song from the past and be encouraged to go for it. We pray that the joy you feel each summer will flow through you as you sing the songs of summer!
Jen

*Sing for an Audience of One!
*Dance like nobody's watching!
*Reach for the stars, and have fun challenging yourself!

Even though this summer looks different than all the rest, I am hanging my hopes on what stays the same: music, stories, and, above all, Jesus. Join us in praising God this summer through the dramatic arts!

Hello everyone! I’m still adjusting to the fact that I won’t be working with you this summer. I will SO miss seeing your beautiful faces in the costume room, throughout the Youth Temple, and especially on the stage. Have a wonderful summer filled with blessings. God be with you ‘til we meet again.
Cathy

Hey guys! In these crazy times, it's important to remember that you are not alone! Remember that every challenge we face has its place in God's plan. Keep your eyes on the One who holds EVERYTHING in His hands, and take this time to really hone the gifts that you have been given, whether it's singing, dancing, acting, or something else entirely! :)
Meredith

Hey! Although this summer is different, I hope you discover fun ways to do the things you love. Write songs, pick up a new instrument or hobby, and find joy in the little things. Most importantly, keep your eyes on Jesus and thank Him for a new day and a new summer :)
Elizabeth

There’s a point in every story where a character must make a choice: choose to face their fears, to stand up, to be the best version of themselves they can be. Let this summer be your moment to face your fears, stand up, and be the best version of yourself. I know you can do it.
David

Have an Amazing Summer!
