A wealthy merchant named Klauss lived with his seven children in a large, comfortable house. Six of the children were materialistic and vain, but one, a girl named Yllona-Belle, had a heart that had chosen a different course.
In a sudden, unexpected turn of events, all the wealth Klauss and his seven children had known was gone. Silently, the family packed what they could, and began the journey to the one place they had left—a small cottage in the country. After traveling many days, they came to a certain bend in the road, and there it was: the little town they would now call home.
The townspeople were enthusiastic and hard-working, and Yllona-Belle, with her sunny and cheerful disposition, made friends quickly, for her view of life matched theirs, and they accepted her as though she were one of their own.

Song #5 - Song of the Workers
All of the Townspeople
Look up!
The sun is shining
The world is bright with possibility
Don’t knock away the chances that come when you see opportunity
Townsperson Soloist 1
How do you know if a dream that’s been planted may someday stand strong and tall Townsperson Soloist 2
What if the day comes when all you’ve invested turns out to be well worth it all
All the Townspeople
Turns out to be more than you thought it would
(More than you thought it would)
Oh-oh-oh-oh
One step
and then the next one
and you’ll have walked half a mile before you’re through
Each one accept the challenge and do the work that’s been given you to do
Townsperson Soloist 3
First a brick, then a wall with a window
A chimney rising above
Townsperson Soloist 4
When you finish the house you’ve imagined fill it with life, fill it with love
All the Townspeople
Turns out to mean more than you thought it would
(More than you thought it would)
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Look up!
The sun is shining
The world is bright with possibility
Don’t knock away the chances that come when you see opportunity
Oh, when you see opportunity
