Silent Night

on Candleberry Square

A Musical Christmas Card

The evening was December 17, 2011. We were gathered to sing and speak of Christmas. Artists were sharing—some songs well-known, some original. This was one of the pieces.

The music was recorded in advance when this project was still just a storyline and a concept. Then the idea began to take shape. A choreographer caught the dream and gave it wings. Others willingly stepped in to play the various parts.

The piece was performed only once, but those who saw remembered. On this page, we share it again with you. Please feel free to pass it along.

The music track was played with harp and pad sounds, and then a pennywhistle (D) was recorded (with lots of reverb).
