One morning, after waking up, I sat in silence for a while, waiting with pen and paper, ready to write down any interesting thoughts that might come to mind.
A number of thoughts came that morning. One of them was this: "Go Make a Positive Difference in the World."
It was a captivating phrase (and one of the visuals came relatively quickly), but then the idea disappeared into my notebook, pages and pages back. Months passed, a year went by, and then some.
A day came when it seemed right to look at it again. These words were added then.
You have something to give. You have something to share. The toolbox you are carrying has skills in it needed by someone somewhere. Find your place. Give out of what you've been given. Shine light into your corner of the world.
Are you afraid? Don't be. Strength is flowing toward you. Receive it. Are you questioning your ability? Learn and grow as you go. This is on-the-job training. Are you ready to move forward? A single step is all it takes to get started.
Do you have questions? Seek for answers. Are there mountains? Learn to climb. Your life is an unfolding story. Turn the page.
Where you are now is not where you'll be someday. Choose well. Look up. There is higher ground above you. Walk toward it. Find it. Claim it.
What you need has already been given, and some of what you have received is for someone else's need. Give with a joy-filled heart.
